Do you run a commercial operation and produce White Suffolk sired lambs?
Then we’d love for you to join our register!
We are gathering information from commercial producers to assist our investigations into a branded lamb product to sell onto the domestic and international market.
The White Suffolk breed is currently leading the way in eating quality for all terminal sheep breeds, and with their exceptional muscle and fat cover they consistently produce quality lamb with tenderness and flavour in the meat. This makes the breed ideal for a branded lamb product and feedback from processors and consumers has been extremely positive.
We are calling on producers of White Suffolk sired lambs to help scope the numbers, seasonal details, specification and areas where you produce your lambs. This information will be treated confidentially and be used to determine supply logistics for the coordination of a branded product.
If the program is successful it will represent a significant opportunity for commercial producers to be involved in producing White Suffolk lambs for some of the world’s finest restaurants and chefs.
