It is widely accepted that the reproductive performance of ewes in their first breeding season can be poorer and more variable than at subsequent breeding seasons. This study aimed to determine the difference in reproductive performance between maiden and multiparous ewes across Australia to inform strategies to improve reproductive performance in maiden ewes.
